The yak, this large ruminant with thick hair, is a pillar of Tibetan life. It provides its rich and potent milk, which herders have been transforming for centuries into a very hard cheese , capable of being preserved for a long time without refrigeration.
This cheese is first and foremost a survival food… but also a source of energy shared with their four-legged companions: the mountain dogs , loyal, hardworking, always there to protect the flocks.
That's how, naturally, the very first chewable cheese stick was born.
The yak is a large ruminant species from the Himalayas. It leads a healthy life in the mountains of Tibet. It breathes unpolluted air, drinks from mountain streams, and spends its days feasting on fresh grass and wildflowers.
Yaks produce a truly unique milk. Their milk is rich in vitamins and fragrant thanks to the wildflowers they have grazed on.

Quick tip
When your dog has finished chewing their yak cheese stick, we suggest removing the remaining piece before it becomes large enough for them to swallow. The advantage of this chewing activity is that you can transform the leftover piece into a crunchy treat. Simply microwave the remaining piece of yak cheese for 60 to 90 seconds, which will change its texture and make it easily edible once cooled (no waste).
